Packed with personality, The Royal Albion has served Maidstone for centuries. Dating back more than 500 years and brimming with character, The Royal Albion is located right in the centre of Kent’s county town, just a few steps from Fremlin Walk shopping centre and a short stroll from Maidstone East station.
The pub wears its age in style, with old beams and brick fireplaces complemented perfectly by the smart, contemporary decor. There’s a pool table and plenty of board games to keep guests of all ages entertained - while outside there are attractive decked areas both front and back for summer evenings with friends.
There are karaoke nights and live rock music every week, regular parties and themed evenings, and the almost-famous ‘Albion’s Got Talent’ competitions. The pub is also available for hire for special occasions - just get in touch to find out more
Award-winning ales and lagers come from Kent’s own Shepherd Neame brewery, while there are also great wines, spirits, ciders and soft drinks

Such a cute lovely pub, bartender Simon was really nice and never realised it had the nicest outdoor area
I went down the Albion tonight for the first time in about 30 years with my brother and husband....it was a great nostalgic evening. The bar staff were very friendly and had some good recommendations- bear island pale ale is delicious.
Such a lovely pub. The locals and the staff are so welcoming and one of the only places that do karaoke on a Friday night. Such a fun night
