Welcome to the oldest building in Maidstone! The Royal Albion is at least 500 years old and was built to a typical Kentish style, with a white weatherboard exterior.
Inside, the contemporary decor mixes effectively with the old beams and brick fireplaces. Outside, there is plenty of seating, with attractive decked areas at both the front and back; the smoking area is kept separate, to the side.
We serve a good selection of ales from Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer, as well as great wines, spirits, ciders and soft drinks. We also serve delicious pub food between 12pm and 3pm.
There is always something going on here - we have karaoke nights and live rock music every week, and watch out for the ‘Albion’s Got Talent’ competitions! We have a pool table and plenty of board games to entertain too.
We regularly hold parties and theme nights, and the whole venue can be hired out for private functions.

Stopped by here on bank holiday Monday as they had a band playing classic rock songs. It's a lovely pub that's clean and tidy, the staff are very friendly. They have a really nice outdoor seating area with plenty of tables which I bet is brilliant on sunny days.
